For those of you who don't know: I'm Madelyn! My adventures in baking started long before I worked in my first bakery. My Nana, Mom, and Grandma all spend A LOT of time in the kitchen and it seemed I was destined to end up there as well. When I graduated high school a semester early I went right into college in the spring. This transition was difficult for me as I couldn't find anything that really fit. Three semesters later I went to my dad and said I am going to apply to every bakery in the area and hoped someone would give me a chance. Well, they did! Thank goodness or I don't know if I would be here baking for all of you! I spent 5 years in some of the most popular and well-known bakeries in St. Louis before I decided it was time to start selling on my own. During that time I found out I was pregnant with my sweet baby boy and all this time he's sat in our little kitchen just babbling away at me while I bake. Watching me go back and forth while I use every square inch of the room we have. One day while he was babbling at me it came to me..."Babble Sweets" and now here we are!
